HONEY MASSAGE OF THE BACK

Honey massage is one of the therapeutic Tibetan massages. It has become widely known in the recent years. Sticky honey used during the procedure removes toxins from the body and helps to clear energy channels. It has been gaining popularity as a very powerful health product.

Honey massage consists in application of honey to the opened pores, and the body literally “absorbs” it. Such treatment boosts blood circulation, activates metabolism at the cellular level, and restores tissue structure.

Honey massage of the back at “Okzhetpes” health and wellness complex is an excellent treatment and prevention tool for a number of diseases:

  • osteochondrosis and other diseases of the musculoskeletal system;
  • sciatica;
  • vegetovascular dystonia;
  • frequent respiratory infections;
  • neuralgia;
  • reduced immunity;
  • stress;
  • excess weight and cellulite.

In “Okzhetpes” health and wellness complex our specialists offer single sessions of honey massage or a course of several sessions. Massage contributes to a better nourishment of internal organs and tissues, enhanced blood flow and skin breathing, as well as improved skin condition and resorption of scars and marks thanks to the manipulation technique that includes an active exfoliating element. After a session of honey massage, your skin becomes silky, elastic, subcutaneous fat evens out, and overall physical condition of the body improves.

The bioactive components of honey promote better metabolism in the cartilage, which does miracles if you have back pain. Besides, honey massage helps to rid of depression and fatigue caused by intense mental workload.

Healthy components and an amazing smell of honey affect the nerve endings, thus bringing relaxation and improving mood.

To those who have never experienced the magical properties of this amazing procedure – we are waiting for you at “Okzhetpes” health and wellness complex!

KOUMISS AND ITS HEALTHY PROPERTIES

Koumiss is a drink that our body is able to digest quite easily. It contains vitamins of groups A, E, B and C, as well as iron, copper, iodine, fats and Lactic acid bacteria. Koumiss is considered a source of a large number of antibiotics that help fight tubercle bacillus, typhoid fever, and dysentery. Lactic acid bacteria produce a positive effect on the gastrointestinal tract and gallbladder; koumiss is often used in the treatment of gastric ulcer. Besides, the bacteria present in koumiss affect bad germs and growth of E.coli; it also improves the microflora of the intestines and vagina. In addition, koumiss is quite valuable for blood and heart; it calms nerves, normalizes sleep, and reduces chronic fatigue and irritability.

The latest studies have shown the impact of koumiss on various physiological processes in the body and on individual organs, in particular:

  • During fermentation, the koumiss yeasts produce antibiotic substances to fight tubercle bacillus.
  • Koumiss normalizes the secretory activity of the stomach and other organs of the digestive system.
  • Koumiss therapy is very effective for gastric and duodenal ulcers – in the recovery phase – and it also shows good results in patients with dysentery and typhoid fever.
  • Koumiss has bactericidal properties, helps to fight E.coli and other pathogens.
  • Koumiss therapy is great for our blood: it increases the content of hemoglobin, improves the leukocyte formula.
  • Koumiss has a positive impact on the nervous system. A properly prepared koumiss produces the following effect: you feel a slight fatigue that leads to a good sleep; irritability disappears.

Koumiss therapy in “Okzhetpes” health and wellness complex of the Medical Center of the Administrative Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been used for a long time, and it’s recommended to all of our guests. There are no age-related contraindications: koumiss is equally beneficial for children, adults and the elderly.

The properties of koumiss make it a unique beverage of natural fermentation. It contains plenty of healthy elements. Koumiss not only boosts the immune system, but also increases fat and protein digestibility, speeds up metabolism and restores the nervous system.

Thus, koumiss can be used in the treatment of tuberculosis, scurvy, and gastritis, diseases of the pancreas, anemia, neurasthenia, cardiovascular disease and typhoid fever.

LEMON

Lemon is a fruit known for its healing properties: it helps to fight various diseases, improves the condition of skin, hair, nails, and increases body tone.

Drinking lemon water is a very healthy habit that can help you to stay healthy and beautiful.

How? Let’s find out.

This citrus is rich in vitamin C, potassium, and it also contains calcium, magnesium, vitamin P and a number of other healthy elements.

If you drink lemon water on a regular basis, it benefits your body in various ways:

  • Activates immune function. Vitamin C is a potent stimulant for the production of interferon – a substance that allows cells to fight viruses and to reduce risks of infection during epidemics.
  • Promotes better digestion – water with lemon taken on an empty stomach activates the processes of the gastrointestinal tract. The atomic composition of warm lemon water is similar to that of saliva and gastric acid, so it triggers the mechanisms responsible for timely digestion of food and removal of waste products through intestines.
  • Stimulates work of liver and gallbladder, because water with lemon helps to make bile thinner, which simplifies the process of its outflow from the body and removes accumulated toxins from the liver.
  • Anti-inflammatory effect – in infections of the respiratory passage. Water with lemon enhances the protective properties of the body, while gargling with it helps to rid of tonsillitis and other throat diseases.
  • Accelerates metabolism. Good metabolism is the key to excellent health, good mood and slim figure.
  • Improves the condition of vascular tissues – a combination of vitamins C and P makes the walls of blood vessels elastic and supple.
  • Ensures continuous operation of cardiovascular and nervous systems due to high potassium content.

That’s the effect that water with lemon produces on the body!

Stay healthy!

WHAT ARE HEALTH BENEFITS OF POMEGRANATE? USEFUL RECOMMENDATIONS FROM “OKZHETPES”

Pomegranate is a fruit that’s not only delicious, but also quite healthy. Pomegranate is rich in vitamins (B, C, E, P) that positively impact human health:

  1. Increases hemoglobin level. The most well-known property of pomegranate is its ability to fight anemia. If you suffer from anemia, drink half a glass of diluted pomegranate juice 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals for 2 months. And in order to elevate hemoglobin level, they recommend eating pomegranate. It also contains a lot of vitamin C that enhances iron absorption.
  2. Reduces blood pressure. Pomegranate seeds gently reduce blood pressure in people with hypertension. Dried pellicles of pomegranates added to a cup of tea help to calm the nervous system, get rid of anxiety, and regulate night sleep.
  3. Increases hormone activity. Pomegranate seeds contain oils that restore hormonal balance in the body. So, rather than spitting out pomegranate seeds, eat them, especially if you have menstrual cramps, go through a menopause or suffer from headaches.
  4. Disinfects mouth and throat. Pomegranate peel infusion or the juice itself can be used for gargling (in tonsillitis and pharyngitis), mouth rinsing (in gingivitis and sore mouth). Tannins relieve pain, while organic acids eliminate infection.
  5. Replaces insulin. Pomegranate fruits belong to the category of products that are not only allowed, but also benefit the health of people with diabetes. Take 60 drops of juice 4 times a day before meals. In just 3 days your blood sugar level will drop significantly.
  6. Removes radiation from the body. The juice of pomegranates is recommended to those who work with radioactive isotopes or live in the area with a high radiation level.
  7. Relieves inflammation. Pomegranate peel infusion helps to fight various inflammatory diseases (of kidneys, liver, ears and eyes, joints, female organs). Here is how you can prepare the infusion: pour 1 glass of hot water over 2 teaspoons of shredded bark, boil it for 30 minutes over a pan of simmering water, strain it, get rid of excess water and dilute it with boiled water to the initial volume. Take 50 g 2-3 times a day 30 minutes before meals.
  8. Heals the skin. If you have problems with your skin or you have acne or lesions with pus, a mask of slightly fried, crushed pomegranate peel with butter or olive oil will come to the rescue. Store the mixture in the fridge and apply to the skin no more than twice a week. Pomegranate peel powder can effectively treat burns and scratches.

Take care of your health,

“Okzhetpes” health and wellness complex!

OMEGA 3 FOR HEALTH AND BEAUTY

Not all fats are bad for human health. Let’s talk about the important of Omega-3 – an essential trace element for your beauty and health.

The importance of Omega-3:

  • Provides elasticity to vessels and supports healthy condition of capillaries;
  • Supplies your body with the energy for healthy metabolism;
  • Participates in the synthesis of tissue hormones and stimulates the enzyme activity;
  • Helps fight premature aging.

What happens if we don’t get enough Omega-3 fatty acids?

  • Sebaceous glands become blocked, which leads to inflammation and, as a result, to acne disease;
  • It weakens the immune system and skin barrier functions get impaired;
  • A damage to the structure of the corneal layer leads to skin flaking, brittle nails and hair, development of seborrheic dermatitis, hair loss;
  • Development of skin allergies.

What products contain Omega-3?

  • First off, it’s sea fish.
  • The largest amount of Omega-3 is found in fatty fish (mackerel, sardine, salmon, tuna, etc.). Freshly cooked fish is the most beneficial for our health, but there are fatty acids in oil-packed canned fish too.
  • Among plants, flaxseed and sesame seeds have the highest content of Omega-3. That is why it is recommended that you dress vegetable salads with flaxseed oil and sesame oil.

Since our body is not able to synthesize Omega-3 on its own, it is crucial that we get this element through the food we consume. That’s why adding such foods to your diet is the right decision for healthy and beautiful skin!
