On June 4, 1992 new state symbols of independent Kazakhstan were first approved. This day will forever remain in the history of our country as the birthday of new state symbols.

State symbols are one of the secure foundations of our state, our sovereignty. They express the sacred unifying image of the independence of our Motherland.

A blue flag with a golden sun and a silhouette of a soaring eagle and a Coat of arms with the image of a shanyrak in its center – a symbol of our common home for all Kazakhstanis – and an anthem expressing the goals and principles of existence, have revealed to the world the image of a new independent state called the Republic of Kazakhstan,

And today we can confidently say that the historical mission on recreation of Kazakhstan’s statehood has been successfully accomplished.

Honoring and respecting the symbols of the country is a civic duty of every citizen.

We wish you happiness, peaceful sky, success in the name of prosperity of our common home – the Republic of Kazakhstan!
