According to the extract from the “Rules for the Organization of Sanatorium and Resort Treatment and Medical Rehabilitation for the Attached Contingent in Medical and Sanatorium Organizations of the Medical Center of the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (hereinafter — the Rules), approved by Order No. 111 dated October 2, 2023, we inform you about the current procedures for undergoing sanatorium treatment and rehabilitation at JSC “Medical and Wellness Complex ‘Okzhetpes’”:

▪️ In accordance with subparagraph 29 of paragraph 5 of the Rules, accommodation of children under the age of 3 is not permitted.

At the same time, accommodation for accompanying persons and children aged 3 and above is charged according to the price of a bed or room (depending on the guest’s choice), in accordance with the current price list and the internal regulatory documents of the Sanatorium.

▪️ In accordance with subparagraph 35 of paragraph 6 of the Rules, indications and contraindications for sanatorium treatment and medical rehabilitation for pregnant women (up to 20 weeks of pregnancy), as well as in the postpartum period (up to 2 months), are determined based on the decision protocol of the Medical Advisory Commission (MAC).

▪️ In accordance with subparagraph 36 of paragraph 7 of the Rules, the list of general and medical contraindications for receiving sanatorium treatment and medical rehabilitation includes:

• any diseases in the acute stage;
• acute infectious diseases;
• patients requiring inpatient treatment and surgical intervention, and others.
